Due to the variable and stochastic behavior of the solar energy resource, Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) of photovoltaic systems is required to ensure continuous operation at the maximum power point to generate the most electrical energy. This paper presents the use of a model predictive controller (MPC) considering constraints for safe operation in order to maximize the power output from a PV system. Analysis and simulation of the proposed system is discussed in details through the paper. The simulation results show that the designed controller can track Maximum Power Point quickly, accurately and effectively.}, keywords = {Photovoltaic systems,Maximum Power Point Tracking,Constrained Model Predictive Control}, url = {https://jser.ut.ac.ir/article_62442.html}, eprint = {https://jser.ut.ac.ir/article_62442_58ca980d62f9d76330a893c58d469fc7.pdf} }
